Thursday 10-18: putting it all together, part two

Greetings once again,

Let's continue on with what we did in the previous session. Here is what you need to do:

A) In the WHEELS section, click in the cell next to the first MONTHLY payment you calculated

B) type in an "=" sign, then click on the cell that has the monthly payment amount

C) type in a dividing sign "/" Its on the same key as the "?" mark

E) type in a "2",then hit Enter. This divides the monthly payment in half

F) click on that new number,then use the little black dot (autofill handle) to drag down next to all the other monthly amounts.

G) Do EXACTLY the same process for your rent in the HOME section

H) In the FOOD section, you will be MULTIPLYING by 2, not dividing.Your formula will use the "*",not the "/" sign. You get the "*" by holding down the SHIFT key,then tapping the number 8 at the top of your keyboard

When you are done, hand this in to your blue shared folder on Box.com
